Koru is efficiently delivered Meditation training. Koru Basic is for people new to meditation. The class is economical for both your time and your wallet.
Classes are kept small and structured to enhance a supportive, community experience. A new class may be starting soon, or you can work with me one-on-one.
Koru was developed by Dr. Holly Rogers at Duke University. The training was honed over many years to create a program optimized for young adults. It is a happy accident that the same program is equally accessible to adults of all ages.
The practice of meditation is more than 5,000 years old. Mindfulness meditation has been heavily studied by Western scientists over the last 35 years. While no practice is of guaranteed benefit to everyone, meditation brings measurable benefits to most people who practice.
Benefits include:
Koru Basic classes are once per week, 75 minutes in length, for four weeks. Ten minutes of daily practice, using the required app , keeps students accountable and helps build community.

Walking a labyrinth is an opportunity for stillness and discovery. It is not a maze; there are no dead ends, only a single, winding path. Enter without expectation. You might bring a question to ask, a burden to release, or a joy to celebrate.
I have a 24' portable, 7-circuit, labyrinth I use for indoor workshops, but there is something truly special in walking outside. Use the World Wide Labyrinth Locator to find one near you.
